Active Hydraulic Aerodynamics
The McLaren Senna utilizes front active aero blades concealed within the front intakes alongside a massive double-element active rear wing actuated by hydraulic servos. At 250 km/h in Race Mode, the system generates 800 kg of downforce.
As the vehicle brakes into Turn 1 (Sainte Dévote), the rear wing pivots vertically in less than 0.3 seconds to act as an airbrake, stabilizing the rear end and shifting the center of aerodynamic pressure forward.
Monocage III & RCC II Suspension
The heart of the Senna is the bespoke carbon-fiber Monocage III passenger cell, featuring optional gorilla glass door windows that give drivers a direct visual line to track apex kerbs. RaceActive Chassis Control II (RCC II) eliminates traditional mechanical anti-roll bars, using cross-linked hydraulic dampers to completely neutralize body roll in Casino Square.
